hey ladies ... our old thread got resurrected with some renewed interest in a meetup. it seems SATURDAY, JULY 11TH is the new date we're attempting a BDW get-together, so i thought i'd start a whole new thread.

 

in our last attempt, it was pretty well decided that the meetup location would be chickie's & pete's south philly establishment, near the stadiums, and the time we had chosen was 4pm - whenever!

I am in. Can't wait to meet everyone and hear all about your weddings. Bring lots of pictures. The starfish will finally make a trip to Jamaica and not Mexico. Talk to everyone soon. Enjoy your meeting today. I have to work. LOL The more I spend for this wedding the more time I have to do, but so worth it.

that's probably a good idea. in our last thread i think runners up for location were all still on the philly side, like south street and delaware ave, weren't they?

I think they were the runner-up locations. I think we figured since some of us are coming from the philly (PA) suburbs and some from Jersey, Philly is the best meeting point.

I'm flexible...a place at either location works for me.

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
