I'm a Maggie bride, too! I went with the Kadence, but in Ivory. It doesn't show it in the picture, but it has a slit up the left side to about mid thigh. I like to call it "build in air-conditioning!". The way the fabric pools, it isn't overtly sexy, but JUST enough! I found it at a local Seattle store callled I Do Bridal. It isn't fancy, but the girls are quick, sweet, and know their stuff. I was a no-frills kind of dress-buyer... so it was perfect for me!

That was until you ladies corrupted me! lol I saw this thread and thought "hmm who is this Maggie Sottero person?" and then I found the website!!! OMGoodness!!! I can't believe all of the beautiful dresses I have seen.
And now I have found "The One" or at least what I think is the one lol. The Rasharna. I am completely obsessed with this dress and I am currently ciberstalking it as we speak popcorn.gif

So its all of your faults!!!shameonyou.gif lol for helping me find the most beautiful dress I've ever seen!smile03.gif Thanks guys!!!

adelaide- I have had no luck finding a bridal salon that has this dress to try on blush2.gif. Any suggestions girls? Im in NYC btw. I want the Blush with Ivory lace/Blush accent!!! I am still cyber stalking my dress lol. As much as I love the Rasharna, I really just don't want to buy it without trying it on and knowing for sure that it's "the one"

I did some investigative (?) dress shopping on Saturday and the girls at the shop said that they had looked into the dress for another girl and they were pretty sure that there had never been a sample cut! Apparently it is also from a few seasons ago and therefore it would be difficult to track one down (even if someone had ordered it and not picked it up).

They are going to call the manufacturer on Tuesday and see what the options are, but at this point it looks like they could order one for me and if I didn't love it when it came in, I would just need to pick another dress from their store.

They had a sample of the MS "Paris" in store which I did try on as it is the same type of fit as the Rasharna. It is beautiful too, but has a taffeta skirt instead of the organza, and of course, no polka dots.

I'll let you know what they say on Tuesday!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
