i finally got my WC to answer my questions about the order of the legal ceremony and where the sand ceremony fits in. so now i feel compelled to do programs as i had originally planned, when i was so ready to scrap it. damn. so much to do!

the good news is my strapless bathing suits arrived (and fit, yay!) and my "something borrowed" traveling starfish bouquet jewel also arrived today! i also just *finally* asked FI's Godmother if she would read the sand ceremony in our wedding, and thankfully she said she'd be honored! nothing like leaving that for the last minute! (still need to buy sand ceremony supplies!)

bad news for today is while i was eating dinner, i had about half of one of my molars just break off in my mouth. so now i will need to deal with emergency dental work a week and a half before we leave, and lemme just say i do not have the expendable funds right now and really didn't need this crap. at least (so far) it doesn't hurt, but i can't chance that it won't start while we're away. there are frozen drinks to be drank (drunk?) and you can't do that with a cracked tooth! owwww!

Hi guys!

I feel like I have been MIA on this thread but it was so fun catching up. I can't sleep! I have been up since 5:30. It's rally annoying. Having a to-do list on my computer is not enough I need visual in my face. I made daily lists in green magic marker that I taped up on my wall. I need to feel satisfied crossing things off.

I have been feeling like there's so much that I want to finish getting done and yet with life and all the rest of it- I just sort of end up doing a few things and then crash. I don't even know if that made sense.

I graduated from my MA program Monday though and now it's just wedding till I leave in 6 days!!!!!!! Seriously Tuesday cannot get here fast enough.. but then again stuff to do still. ha I feel nuttyshots.gif

Also.. My dieting has been BAD so very bad. It's all the damn celebrating. Graduating, bridal shower, legal day, bachelorette... ugh.

I feel like the May brides had a little extra something cause of the swine flu drama. It's so great to see all you girls that decided to go ahead with Mexico even through the media crap that was thrown our way. shots.gif

Just wanted to drop in and say Hi and touch base with my May girls. Onward and forward women! I am so excited (what if i don't sleep till next tue when I leave??)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
