I was thinking about going on a Tuesday to be there one day early, but then I felt like it would be kind of lame to go to work just one day on Monday and then leave Tuesday. We plan to have some activities for guests planned Wed-Sun, but maybe we should change the travel days to Tuesday-Saturday. Any thoughts?
I think we are leaving either Tues or Wed for our wedding on Saturday. I'm still taking off from work that whole week since I would need to pack and get married legally also before we leave so might as well take the extra day or two.

I am actually leaning towards leaving on Wed so that I don't get too much sun and have tan lines! LOL Who want's that!

Has anyone been allowed to do this? Choose one item from the silver menu even though you have the gold menu?? I have been emailing Landy, Natalia, Aurora and Anabel and none of them have given me a straight answer!!! It's getting to be frustrating since I think this is a very simple question.
I am VERY glad to hear that you are able to have two entree options. I emailed that particular question to Aurora, our WC two weeks ago now, and we have still not heard back on whether we can do it. I was really hoping they would speed up on the communication now that we're less than two months away.

Who gave you the ok for 2 entrees? In case Aurora tells us that we can't, it would be helpful to have the extra info! Thanks for letting us know!

Hey ladies! So I wanted to give you all and update on the cost or the tiffany chairs... I emailed Anabel about 2 or 3 weeks ago asking if the price was still $6 like it said in my original Guide. She responded tonight and said they are $18 now.... That's triple the cost!! I am amazed how they change their costs on everything so frequently and without consistent answers.

HI Ladies!

Me again...:) June 20th is closer than we think!!!

Anywho, I am thinking of including "cash" or a mock gift certifciate for each guest to go to the ruins as part of their OOT bag. Do they have gift certificates there, or how much cash do you think it would be for one person to get into the ruins with cab fare?

Also, would you recommend getting gift certificates to the gift shop or anywhere at the resort?? Any suggtesions would be great:))

Thanks!!

Have a great evening!

Lonna

The ruins cost approx 4$ to get in and approx 8$ for cab (you can check my review for the exact amount) but you can put multiple people in a cab.

Rather than give out money, why not just organize a group trip? Have people meet in the lobby, and when you are ready to go and cabs are filling up hand somebody in each cab the money to get there. On the way back though it may be trickier as some people will leave sooner and the cab sharing groups may change. But I'm sure you can work something out. You could simply pay back whoever paid for the cab rides back.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
