How much of a hike is it to each of the areas? How bout at night? How many bars and do you know the hours are there in the Grand section?

I know about the Roof Top Bar, I was actually thinking of everyone meeting for happy hour there on Friday night. Our biggest nights with friends are Thursday, Friday, and Saturday and I was thinking of listing meetings places in my brochure for Thursday and Friday. Any other suggestions on places to meet a crew of people?

another question.... Do cell phones work in Mexico? We have Sprint.
Hi Tina! I also have Sprint and just recently called them to ask about service in Mexico. They told me my phone will work but it will cost me $1.69 per minute!! Yikes!!!!

I was wondering about the rose petals as well...I would like to do a pink/orange color too!
Our colors are pink and orange too! My fiancee loves orange and my bridesmaids are wearing Watermelon colored dresses from Davids Bridal! I just sent a request to our WC about orange and pink rose petals.

I think it came down to me just not being into the whole fairytale type wedding and being the center of attention. Personal preference - I just didn't need all the hoop-la with it I guess.
I totally get that...I get nervous just thinking about it. Thanks for the advice on the cake...I was debating between small and large and now I know I can go with the small and it will be fine. Can't wait to see more pictures from your wedding!

I will say that it gets HOT HOT HOT in the Catholic gazebo with the sun pounding down on it all day and the glass preventing any sort of breeze.
Congrats on the house!! Mine is scheduled to close May 20th.

HOT is very good to know..... I think we would prefer the breeze for a 2:00 wedding in July!!

I am getting very excited and very nervous! I am starting to go over thing after thing to make sure we have purchased everything! There are several of us all getting married the same week in July....... Ladies, it is gong to be here before we know it!!

That is good to know that is an option. Maybe the minimum only applies to people that are part of a wedding group. If they don't tell them they are part of your group, at least they are there. Or maybe Moon Palace lightened up on some of their rules due to low occupancy rates!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
