Decorations: What are you taking?

Recommended Posts

oh my gosh i went through all of my stuff the other night getting rid of extra stuff. I have alot going w/ me! Fortunately all of us booked our flights far enough in advance that we are still allowed 2 free checked bags. Joes parents are only taking carry ons so we are just distributing amongst our family. I dont think we'll have much issue since we have 4 bags we can give to joes parents. I also ordered flowers (from fresh real natural touch artificial silk wedding bouquet flowers). Most of my other stuff is going to be packed in bags I can fold down to bring home easier, except for our flowers, I'm going to pack them in a hard shell bag.

Ok Oh my gosh please tell me someone is bringing as much crap as me!

Oh, wow. Now I'm scared.eek.gif Looking at your list makes me realize I also have a crapload of stuff. Geez, I need to quit buying. I just keep seeing all these wonderful ideas and keep adding on stuff.
This really did start out being simple and relaxed. Wait until DH actually sees it all gathered in one place. Yikes! Not sure how I am getting it all there?worried2.gif

Think im stupid, just joined the site, what does OOT stand for? I can guess what they are, just dont know the abbreviation. sorry.

One thing I'm planning on taking are Wish Lanterns. Not sure if anyone has posted about them on here.

Basically they are paper lanterns. You guests whisper or write a wish in them, then you set alight the little burner in the middle and they float away like little hot air balloons of light. Look really pretty at night. Going to take about 40(one for each guest), so should look good.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
