Regarding the friends profile thing, you can view it on your friends perhaps because they haven't changed the privacy settings. Like you changed it so when someone finds you, they can't view your friends list, but other people probably have not made that same change.
That would be nice but if you go through your grad class, haven't you noticed how on the left side it shows their photo and name, then on the right side it gives you the option to add them as a friend and then view their friends? It shows the view friends thing for everybody! I would have thought that at least someone would block their friends list to someone who wasn't their friend (that being me).

You can definitely set your profile to where people can't view your "Friends" list:

Go to: "Settings", then choose "Privacy Settings". From there, choose "Manage" under the privacy heading. THEN, go to "Search"...from there you can choose what kind of setting you want people to see when they search you. Make sure that "My Friend's List" is not clicked. This will prevent anyone (but yourself) from seeing your friends list.

....I hope that wasn't too confusing......

No, I definitely appreciate your help with this, with my experience on there...I just wasn't too sure you could do that. I'll have to reactivate my account and try it again.

Yes!!! I don't have a dummy account but I use my FI's account to test all of my secuirty settings. It's been very helpful and now I know that everything works the way I want it to! cheesy.gif

I just found an interesting fact about Facebook today. Apparently when you send someone who isn't a friend a message, or if they send one and you happen to respond, they can see your profile for 30 days....no matter what your privacy settings are setup for.

They can't see anything that other people wouldn't see. Also, you can add them to your limited profile list if you wish.

Yeah they can, I've tested it with another profile. They can see a lot of your basic information, who you're married to, what pages you're a fan of, etc. What's a limited profile list?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
