OK, I'm in! I totally need this too! Here's my plan:

Eat 3 small meals plus 2 snacks a day (zone style). I have physical therapy 2 times a week (I had knee surgery in July). On the other 2 days during the week (not including Friday) I will ride my exercise bike 30 - 45 minutes and do upper body weights. Then on the weekends I will do at least one day of fun outdoor activities (does dress shopoing count?)

So here's what I've had today

Breakfast:

Large coffe w/ milk & splenda

eggwhites w/ onions, green peppers, cheese and salsa

1/2 a caramel cupcake (damnit! - my friend baked these and brought them into work... I must remain stronger in the future!)

Lunch

Tempeh and salad

Dinner:

Eggplant/tofu/goat cheese "sandwhich" (no bread - wrapped in lettuce)

Cantalope

Bites of dal (Indian soup w/ rice) that my FI made

Snack:

1 oz. goat cheese

3 pineapple chunks

Exercise: 30 minutes in bike

OK I'm officially NEVER eating AGAIN! Last night one of my patients asked me if I was pregnant! thatswck.gif Now, I think that's just rude anyway (she actually was pretty rude in general, come to think of it...) and I'm wearing scrubs, but still- if someone thinks I look pregnant then I know something needs to be done! My coworkers all said she's crazy, but it's still a pretty hard blow hearing someone ask you "when are you due?", especially when they are the one that's pregnant! I seriously had a crazy night at work- I swear all pregnant women are nuts! Anywho, here's the diet tally for my last 24 hrs:

Breakfast (8am): egg beaters, one slice whole wheat toast, 4 pieces turkey bacon

Snack #1 (1pm): 3 pieces beef jerky, protein shake

Lunch (6pm): 2 snack size almond joy bars (glad those are gone now!), diet iced tea

Snack #2 (9pm): 2 small oatmeal cookies (they were homemade, couldn't resist)

Dinner (or whatever meal night shifters eat at midnight!): 1 grilled tilapia filet, 1/2 apple with 1 tbsp peanut butter, diet rock star energy drink

I usually have another snack at 4am, but was too busy so that's all.

I didn't work out because I just can't find the motivation to when I'm doing my first night shift in a row- it's trauma enough on my body to switch shifts...

Today will be better, but now I'm off to bed, talk to you girlies later this afternoongoodnight.gif

Ok, so I didn't exercise again. I had a bad day! That's my excuse. I will today. I swear. Maybe.

Anyway, menu from yesterday.

Breakfast : Grape nut flakes

Lunch: Salad

-ham, tomato, carrot

Apple

Snack: Miniature special dark

Dinner: Pork chop

Salad

Half a potato

Snack: Hob Nob (cookie)

Plan: Today I will come home and run 2 miles.

I really don't want to start looking for dresses until I lose about 5, but I have been saying that for months.

Maybe I should go try some on. THat will probably kick me it the butt.

Have a great day!

Ok, I'm in. Did 1 and 1/2 hours of Bosu last night at the gym and am going in to do 1 hour of body sculpt and 1 hour of high/low tonight. I need to tone about 10 more pounds and have a year to do it. Unfortunately, I also have a box of Oreo Ice Cream Sandwiches calling my name from my freezer. If I can hold out on those, I will be in good shape for today. Also, I weigh myself once a week (at the gym) and today's the day....sad.gif

Just an FYI, when I was trying on dresses most of them came in a size 12 or another standard size. So no harm if you look now, you can wait to order and get measured if you want if you find "the" dress.

Sarah, that lady is just being mean. A lot pregnant women think EVERYONE is pregnant! I think they want others to be suffering along with them wink.gif

I saw you're pictures and you look gorgeous! Don't forget we all just saw the pictures you had taken by Juan. I don't think that any person in their right mind (note: pregnant people are NOT in their right mind) would think you were pregnant. It's actually ridiculous!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
