Kara, I'm so sorry. I don't even have the words to express how awful I feel for everyone that is forced to cancel their weddings. You should be excited with anticipation in the days before your wedding - not devistated. I can't even imagine what I would do or how I would get through it. If there is anything I can do please just let me know- we are all here for you.

For REAL! I thought at the worst our guests would cancel and Fi and I would get married alone...but no wedding at all..not even on my radar.

Kara, and all the other girls who are affected by this, I am so sorry!!! I can't even imagine what you must be feeling!

 

I'm a strong believer that everything happens for a reason so hang in there and everything will work out, it will be even better in the end and you'll marry the man of your dreams! Feel free to PM me if you need to vent, I know that this is especially hitting Canadian brides hard because of the reactions of our tour operators!

My wedding is cancelled too, at least for this year! Now looking at 2010 dates! Already picked up my dress, already had my rings sodered together so now I can't wear them at all. this just sucks!! My heart goes out to all the other brides....

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
