shit, at this point you may have a whole bunch of us with rescheduled weddings coming with you! LOL (i hope the hell not tho, as much as we'd all love to meet you)

i confess that i just unraveled like a cheap sweater over the whole swine flu nonsense as i keep seeing people with ruined plans and canceled weddings on here. i lost it, and sobbed my eyes out for like an hour, when honestly, so far i'm not even effected by it. no one has mentioned canceling and my airline hasn't halted flights. i had been so strong, but then i lost it. it's the first time ever that i can say this forum did more harm than good for me, LOL. reading about everyone else's wedding tragedies sunk me!

Ditto Lisa... I broke down this morning to FI, I feel just aweful for all the brides. FI started ranting about the Media blowing it out of proportion and I was surprised he was being so supportive and concerned. I have been thinking about it non-stop, I wish there was something I could do. I just simply can not imagine what everyone is going through sad.gif

I know!!! I just feel so bad! I wish things like this did not come up & ruin the weddings people have done so much planning for! It's not like it's ruining a vacation...vacations can be easily rescheduled! It's messing with WEDDINGS!!! BDW should wage war on this stupid swine flu that is screwing with our beloved members!!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
