2010 travel packages?

Recommended Posts

I am having the same problem. 2010 land rates are really high. What is stopping us from waiting until the last minute to book, when all the travel specials are in place? I might just book 10 rooms now for immediate wedding party and family, and tell everyone else to shop around for travel deals and specials as we get closer to the date.

As for the tickers, use ones with codes: PseudoHTML, UBBCode, or BBCode. Some good sites are daisypath, tickerfactory, wedding countdown. Once you have it, you paste the code into your sig area under UserCP. Hope this helps!
Let me know if you have any more questions...
Thanks!!! I figured it out.
I am now trying to figure out how to get a photo in my profile as it shows when I go to edit but not on my posts. I will figure it out though!!!

I have not book my room for PPR yet. I just have my wedding date saved. I went to the resort site and looked at prices and they have gone up alot the ocean front room was 7 something of 09 and now it like 1k, so I am waiting and hopeing a TA can do better than that.

I was able to reserve all of my rooms for my guests through my travel agent. We have already put deposits down on them. The rate was quite expensive so we are having some guests stay at NH right next door if they do not want to pay the higher rate. We have not done anything with airfare yet, you have to wait until 330 days before at least.

  • 3 weeks later...

I feel so far behind! My wedding is early Jan. 2010 and we're just NOW finally choosing a resort! The family is getting a little annoying asking for details but he's in law school and I'm just finishing undergrad. We've got a lot going on!

Anyway, the TA I went to gave me some estimate prices (don't know where she got them) but said I was safe picking a date and could tell people. It was really frustrating having to wait for prices, I wish I would have gone to a TA sooner just for the advice on how to get started!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
