Savanah be careful w/ that idea. You may want to put it in your checked luggage. You can only take tiny amounts of liquids/gells/pastes etc on in your carry on.
Check the airline ur using for specific amounts but it's really not a lot and there are rules about how it must be taken on...i htink in individual plastic baggies or something....

As far as product, I'd just say your normal styling products + some good heavy oil, a good deep conditioner, curling irons (I use two different sized barrels) and a leave in moisturizer as well as maybe some setting lotion and rods depending on what style you're going for.

Something else I really, really like is a product called Porosity Control. You can get it in any Sally's Beauty Supply, and it's a conditioner that goes on really slick..seals the hair shaft nicely and can help prevent reversion.

Thank you for the advice! Below are the styles I'm thinking about. My main concern is making sure my edges don't "revert". I'll look into that product you suggested. P.S. My FI is a Army recruiter in Cicero, IL.

Who knows what we'll end up with on the big day...
Those are gorgeous. I am concerned though about getting my hair done at the salon onsite (ROR). My wedding is at 11am and I would have to get up super early to get my hair done. Does anyone know if they could do roller sets and pin ups...? Then to top it off, I am doing TTD photos on Saturday.

I think you may be ok at the ROR. If you look at this review, they seemed to do a pretty good job on her hair.

Since you have such an early time for your wedding I would suggest that you do your roller set the night before and have them pin curl it for you to sleep on it. That way the next morning your hair would already be curled and all they would have to do is style your pin up for you.

I really like the first one...that's me all day. Simple, with a flower and it will be perfect. I will be on the beach anyway. I dont wanna be tooo formal. When your make-up is done right, you really dont have to do a lot with your hair. Cause everyone's focus will be on your face anyway.

How do you plan to style your hair for your wedding? Will you have it done before you travel? (braids, sew in, weave) Or do you plan to make an appt with the stylist on staff at the resort? Just wondering!
I am having a hard time with this also. I know I want a weave sewn in but I don't now how I want it styled.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
