None of them look that great to me either. I was also wondering about the reception food - what's good and what's not. Any input from past brides would be helpful.

Well ladies we finally received our wedding video from the resort and I cried...it was AWEFUL! Not only can you NOT hear what anyone is saying because the music is SO LOUD....but they didn't even record MY vows?!? Only my husbands, what is up with thathuh.gif?

So ladies, words of advice ensure you talk to the videographer (Fabio) prior to him leaving. I have emailed him twice and also sent Natalia an email. I have no problem paying for another DVD but seriously, wanna hear my vows on my wedding video...is that soooo much to ask for? Grrrrr....

Rachel I'm so sorry to hear you are disappointed about your video. Hopefully the videographer will re-edit and only charge you for shipping. That's what seems fair to me.

Can you ask one of the mods to post that info in your review as an update (on the first page, so that people see it).

Future brides are always asking questions about photo and video (and more and more lately, food!). I want to make sure they can find your comments in the future.

For those looking for info about food quality, try reading some of the recent reviews (i.e. like last 6 months or so) I know some brides mentioned what they liked and didn't like, many of them aren't here anymore.

Also you can try searching this thread for the word "food" or "meal" or "appetizer" and see if you get any comments that people didn't post in their reviews.

Can i just vent and say that I am very frustrated with planning this destination wedding?? I'm so mad that they keep changing the prices on me! First of all I thought it was only $6usd each to rent Tiffany chairs and then Anabel quoted me $12usd each. And now after I just emailed to confirm everything she's quoting $18usd each for the Tiffany chairs!!! WTF? censored.gifHow does it go from $6 to $12 to $18! I'm soooo mad! I emailed her back and told her that she already quoted $12 for me and that I don't appreciate her giving me this new price out of nowhere! Geez I feel like they just wanna rip you off! And i thought it was only $50usd per person for a day pass but she quoted me $90usd per personhuh.gif Does anyone else have this problemhuh.gif It's so unfair to feel like this when you're already stressed about the wedding! Sorry just had to vent!!!crybaby2.gif

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
