Hey Ladies,

I submitted my details sheet to Tiffany last week and just found out that I can only choose 2 meal options for my guests because I have less than 70 ppl! This sucks because I had my guests choose their meals on my invitation...ugh! I was orginally going to choose Beef, Chicken, or Fish options from the A-La-Carte "Main dish" menu and she said that I must choose only 2 Max! For those of you with a guest count under 70, have you all been told the same thing?

K...so first off...I am not a Bride...but this is the best way to get information.

I have 2 questions One on Flowers, Second, on Music

1...are any of you planning on using a vendor for the bouquet? and if so which ones?

We contacted Cancun florist with flowers, gifts and balloons delivery in Cancun and they gave us some good prices compared to Lomas Travel (their prices are daylight robbery!censored.gif)

Here are some prices:

Here is the quote you requested.

Bird of paradise bouquet $75 usd

Cymbidium orchid bouquet $150 usd

Mini calla lilis, orchids and roses $200 usd

Bird of paradise boutonnier $20 usd

Plus delivery fee. Prices are for single bouquet. If you need more items (bridesmaid's bouquets, centerpieces, etc) we can give you a better price.

2.

Are any of you planing on bringing a Bose Sound Dock...or have you opted to use the system there?
This is where we are completely lost...I just need to know if I use Lomas Travels Ipod Station or the Amplifier for Private events?

Category Music - List of products - Weddings in Cancun & Riviera Maya by Lomas Travel

Anyone able to add some clarity would be greatly apprciated?

Yes...We were told the same thing...but it was stipulated in the event package that we got.

We went with the Mahi Mahi or Beef option.

Hey! I'm such a dork. I forgot to put pricing on my original post about the mood cup order. A few people have PM'd me. Here is the cost breakdown for anyone else that is interested:

They are $0.79 each + a $40 set up + tax and shipping.

I think they will come out to about a $1 per cup. I'm planning on splitting up the $40 set up fee between all of the girls that order.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
