Did you buy your FI's ring online?

Recommended Posts

I bought my FI's ring from Oromi Inc. They are located on the East Coast and claim to have the largest online selection of wedding rings. We bought a 18k white gold benchmark wedding band for a fraction of the price that we found for the exact same ring in the stores! They shipped fast too.

No problem! I love them, they are quick and efficient. My wedding band was $300 cheaper from them than a jeweler. I would recommend them to anyone!

we order dh's online. it's tungsten and cost $6.50 because we bought it from a wholesale site- Wholesale Sterling Silver, Titanium, Gemstone & Stainless Steel Jewelry, Buy Silver Rings, Bracelets, Chains, Gold Earrings, Pendants & Necklaces Online. we actually bought 5 so he could choose and then we bought a backup of the one he chose just in case. if this ring cost less than $10.. think about how much money jewelers are making off of each ring they sell- nuts! here is a thread about it- http://bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/t11796

My FI wanted a very specific style of engagement ring that we saw on a vcacation in St John. There are no jewelers in the area that specialize in that style. So, he ordered my engagement ring and we ordered the matching bands all via online and the phone.

And, I'm thrilled with my engagement ring. We just ordered the bands and will get them two weeks before the wedding. And, I have every confidence that the bands will be perfect.

Just ordered some titanium bands for FI from here, cant't wait to see them 4 rings and shipping = less than $30.

I guess the are no longer carrying tungsten, bummer but we figure we can still get him one if none of these work out.

The rings have arrived, can wait to get home and see them. I paid the cheapest $6.50 shipping and they have already arrived.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
