well okay so the city itself is not all that suuuper great but the private house we were in was AMAZING... Bono stayed there while he was writing the last album and i can see why. personal cooks and servants keeping everything in line and the house was gorgeous and so amazing for the photos.

Hi Jean,

I am getting married in Ensenada in June and I was wondering if you might have some quick tips for me! I am looking for dancers/maybe a mariachi band to perform during my cocktail hour...did you guys have one? What kind of entertainment did you have?? Any good tradition ideas?? So glad to see someoneelse who got married down there :)

actually Jessica. i was just the photographer. I didn't get married there. I know that the couples saved OOOODLES of cash by stopping by the duty free and buying their liquor on their way on the border and then they bought tons of stuff at the costco down there and stocked up the house. They didn't have a mariachi band but I'm sure there would be plenty down there.

I do know that there was this taco stand on the main strip into the city that had some amaaaaaaaazing food. it had a big red awning and there were about 30 local people in line. so you know it had to be good.

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
