Here's to my late night/early A.M.posters!!!

Recommended Posts

Hi there, my fellow late-night/very early A.M. ladies!

I feel like the "Mayor of Crazytown" whenever I hit the "Post Reply" button and it's 4-5:30 am -- do youhuh.gif Do you think that when someone looks at the posted time of your reply and it's 3:23 a.m., they will think you're nuts for being up at such an hour? You shouldn't! I work 2nd shift, and this is my down time...and I believe it's yours, too.

Or, maybe , you can't sleep because your mind simply refuses to stop dancing with thoughts of your upcoming destination wedding?! Costs, calculations, details...AARRGGH!

We are a very unique SISTERHOOD -- let's UNITE!

Love, hugs, and high-fives!

Christie

Hey Christie, I just thought people were probably in a time zone where it wasn't the middle of the night like it is here. I have trouble sleeping when I have a lot going on at work, so.....I am up checking out my favorite site at 2 in the morning. I was so tired when I went to bed tonight but now I am up and full of energy.

I seem to get my best ideas and make decisions on things I want for the wedding in the middle of the night. Ok, so I am a bit of a night time shopper too! I am often on ebay trying to bid on stuff at 3 am too.

How are the wedding plans coming?? Are you completely obsessed with this site the way I am? :)

OMG!!! I was NOT expecting such quick replies...but then again, we are all used to waiting to hear back from people that keep "normal" schedules, aren't we?

You're both divine...I was so excited to see y'all posting already that I didn't even see if you asked me any questions!

Answering back in a sec,

Christie

Purrfected -- we're both Jamaica Brides! Yea, Mon!

I am ABSooOOOlutely obsessed with this site! My FI is like, "What did you learn on the BDW today, honey?" everyday, because he knows that I will have some new tidbit of info.! You joined in Janurary, myself in March - but don't you feel like you've gained a wealth of knowledge already (Side bar -- if you come across miskaytee, she is delightful! One of my new BDW BFFs, for sure!)

You are in Cali., about 3 hours in time behind me in EST, but you and BEACHBRIDE 10 seem to know what it means to be up at night, err, early morning -- it must be about 3 am where you are right now!

I work Monday thru Friday from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. as a News Reporter so the majority of my post are always done at unGodly hours, lol. And while I'd much rather be asleep at home in my nice cozy bed, my downtime during these ridiculous hours allows me to catch up on all the threads I've missed rolleyes.gif

Hello ladies ~ so glad I'm not the only one!!! smile03.gif

Yes, it is about 3 am in the morning and FI is peacefully sleeping, while I am up scouring this site like a fiend! I was up looking for exactly what info to include in the brochures for my OOT bags. I want to do brochures that give info on Jamaica, the resort, our plans, little known facts about us, etc. I also am trying to write out a blurb on what to pack and a don't forget to...list.

Everytime I think I am getting ahead of the game, I think of something else I haven't done. And work, I basically am working in between posts!!:) Thankfully I am in and out of the office all day so I am forced to spend a great deal of my day actually working. If not, I would be glued to this site or on Vista Print working on one of my many projects.

I am so excited to get back to Jamaica. I haven't been in 3 yrs. Waaaayyy too long. I usually stay in Ocho Rios or MB which is why I chose Negril for my wedding. Something different..

Are you going on a honeymoon, and if so wherehuh.gif

Ok ladies, now I really feel crazy. You guys are all up in the middle of the night because you have jobs that require you to keep these kinds of hours. What is my excuse? Just plain nuts!! I still have to get up early tomorrow morning go to yoga, get ready for work, walk my dog (5 month old rottweiler puppy whose sole mission in life is to chew anything that belongs to me!!) and commute in to work.

MarieSam I live in the valley and work in BevHills so you know how much traffic I have to face! Lucky for me my time is a bit flexible so I usually go in around 11/noonish or so.

MarieSam - We are the Vampalicious of the night!

I actually have my B.A. in Journalism from Penn State University, but the news industry in Pennsylvania (at least where I live!) is not so enthralling...close to 6 years out, and I will be going back to school (ugh, yet again) for Nursing. A totally different path, I know, but it is what it is, right? There is always a need for nurses and I just happen to be the nurturing type!

Purrfected -- I am going to do my four day wedding adventure at SGOR, and then my 3-day mini-moon at Sandals Royal Caribbean. Same island, two diffent experiences, if it works out the way I hope!

All the ladies of the morning, say, Yeah!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
