Why are people still booking?!?!?!

Ok so our wedding is 3 weeks away...our RSVP date for guests that we put on our invitations was January 15th and the booking deadline was February 15th...

WE ARE STILL HAVING PEOPLE BOOK...TODAY!!!!!!!!!

seriously I want to pull my hair out! we just had 4 more people book today! so it is not a huge deal, more of an inconvenience but now I have to add 4 on to everything!

I hate to sound like a snot, and please don't get me wrong, we are very grateful to have so many people making the trip with us BUT SERIOUSLY 3 WEEKS BEFORE?!

I mean there is a reason why I sent the STD's 10 months ahead of time and the actual invites 5 months ahead....UGH!!!!!!!

I know that there has to be a couple of you that can sympathize with me?!

I seriously just need to be on the beach right now drinking a margarita!

Hey Andi, I totally understand. I think people don't realize those deadline dates are placed on the invitations for a reason. They probably don’t realize the big Inconvenience its causing you. I think assume since it’s a DW that you don’t have any preparations to make. I hope this is the last day people book. Can you ask your TA to inform everyone that calls that the deadline has passed and they can't book any more?

I would just maybe tell them that if they plan to keep booking that they will not be included in any excursions unless they pay for themselves and that they wont get things like wedding favours since they are already bought. i wonder what people think the RSVP date is for since they never seem to follow it? lol

All the brides that have been saying this has happened to them are making me think that when I make my invitations that I will write this is the RSVP deadline and if you decide to book after this date you will not be included in the special activities outside the wedding and won't be getting things like a welcome bag (but in less words lol)

I totally understand.. Our wedding is a month after yours - we set our RSVP dates early (beginning of March) knowing people wouldn't stick to it that closely.. but now it's almost a month after the date and people are still not giving us definite answers.. I can change my numbers with the resort but I wanted to have that done by now and we are ordering OOT bag stuff and flip-flop favors and that order has to be in this weekend.. so even though, I'll probably be annoyed but give in like you, but I guess they just won't get favors..

i had people rsvping up to 4 days before the WEDDING!! not even departure date...we had one guest get in his car and drive down to cabo.

haha, we got some rsvp's back the next day in the mail. YES, the day AFTER the wedding. nice.

OMG, Andi you are too funny and also , I cant believe you wedding is sooo close.

Also Tammy-- DRIVE to cabo at the last minute . People are crazy.

But at least they all love us enough to be there.
