YAY!!!! Another Whitehouse bride!!! I was beginning to think I would be alone forever! LOL. But, you beat me there by about a year. I am so jealous.

I know what you mean about wanting to shout from the rooftops. I was the same way. Please keep in touch! We can share planning ideas!

Do you know which location you are going to use for the wedding? And what room did you guys choose?

Feel free to PM or email me any time!

BAKERSGIRL- I really want to get married in the stone gazebo on the beach- I think it would make for great pics. And as for the room- we decided on the honeymoon grand luxe beachfront room...but I'm not opposed to upgrading to the concierge room if they happen to offer us one :) Oddly enough- what made my decision between couples swept away and sandals whitehouse was videos on youtube! Sandals Whithouse just looked much more colorful and exciting.... Congrats to JamaicaBride09 and Bakersgirl....Sooo excited for both of you!!

I am just so excited to have another Whitehouse bride. I was beginning to wonder why no one else was getting married there! We are booked in the Grande Luxe Beachfront Concierge Suite.

We can't decide on a location. I hope to find some better pictures of the locations that might help us decide.

I will have to check out the videos. I would have never thought to go to youtube to find videos.

You can't beat the deals that Sandals is offering right now. Our trip price for our guests has been lowered twice since our original booking. They have saved a little over $200 per couple from the original quote!

I got my rate reduced as well!!! All you do is go to Sandals.com and check the rates to see if its any cheaper than when you booked. If it is cheaper then call Sandals and have them reduce your rate to take advantage of the new offer. You can do this until the last 90 days of arrival. I have reduced twice since my booking, saving close to $1000

Yes, Sandals is great about working with us to get the reduced rates if the price drops! One of my brides received a savings of almost 800.00!

Another thing you can do ( and we do this for alot of our brides / guests/ honeymooners is apply that rate to a room upgrade-so for the same amount that they alreday budgeted they can go into a better room category such as a concierge or even a Butler! It's fantastis if that is what you really wanted at the beginning but your budget didn't stretch quite that far!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
