if you are in nyc and want the world's greatest cupcake, go to sugarSweetsunshine. my MOH lived in brooklyn for a while and when i went to visit we did our own cupcake tour of the city... it even edged out magnolia which was equally as delish! and casey, I agree.. the magnolia red velvet is to DIE for!

i also really love cream cheese frosting...do you think that will be too heavy for this cupcake. i am freaking out here. i need cupcakes!!
actually, i think that would be really good! it won't be as sweet as buttercream which is good because there is so much sweetness in the cupcake already!

if you make these with the cream cheese frosting let me know how they come out!!

Why did I have to see this thread? Less than 2 months before my wedding and I am not near being bikini ready and all I can think about is cupcakes!

I love to bake and I think the reason cupcakes always taste better than cake is because you can eat one right out of the oven. When you bake a cake you are forced to wait until it cools and I always think it makes me look greedy if I serve a cake that is cut. Ok, I am, but I don't want the guests to know that!

Pre wedding planning days I used to go to Sprinkles once a week to get a fix. I am obsessed with their red velvet and their black and white cupcakes! I work 5 minutes away from the store. I actually have to drive by it everyday to get to work. Usually the long line discourages me from stopping but today.....I just don't know. Work was so depressing yesterday, one of the girls that I hired got put on notice yesterday. Oh yeah, and she is from my church, no less. Yes, I think I deserve a cupcake today!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
