Dress Shopping on Saturday

Recommended Posts

Courtney I really like #1, but I love #2, I love the sash, the lace, and the bottom, but only you know which one is "the one", can you post pictures of the dress on the model so we can get a better idea on all 3?

Courtney...I think all the dresses are beautiful. They seem pretty similiar in style (strapless with a pick-up skirt), and will all look gorgeous on you, so then you just have to go with the one you love so much, you'd sleep in it if you could (That's the advice my sister gave me...I know it sounds silly, but I found it to be very true!)

That's actually really good advice!! lol. That is how I felt about the last one, but now I'm starting to second guess myself!

Jill - I'd get a picture of it w/a model wearing it, but I'm a usless bride and don't know who the designer is and I couldn't find it on the retailer's website! I'll have to call and ask them!

I second-guessed myself too. Go back to the store and put it on again. You'll know the feeling if it's the right one! I ordered my dress a couple of months ago, but I'm so impacient waiting for it, that I stop in at the bridal shop every so often, to put it on and get that "Ahhh" feeling again. Once it's on, they practically have to rip it off me to get me to take it off (well, actually, if they just unclipped it, it would fall right off all by itself...but you get the point). I feel like the most vain person in the world with my dress on. I can't stop staring at myself in the mirror. I would be content all day just twirling and skipping around in it. ...All this talk of wedding dresses, I might have to stop back in tomorrow for another visit :)

I know what you mean, the pictures arent the same as being in the store wth the dress on.

IMO I love all 3! But being that numero 3 is your fave I would go with your gut instinct! I love the sweetheart neckline on it!

Wow, this is so exciting for you!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
