hey michelle! i was going to go with claudia r. but then I saw pictures done by Jeremy Gilliam, who is an amazing photographer from Dallas so I emailed him and was very lucky to book him for my wedding! I highly recommend him, check out his awesome website:

Is there anyone out there who has used or planning on using the Dreams Cancun photographer included in the wedding packages. I am getting married in June this year and am starting to panic about this aspect!!!

 

Hope someone can help me.

Im getting married at dreams too and was going to go with their photographer Juan Navarro but after seeing some other photographers work i decided that i didnt want to use him.

my advice for you- look at his work on his website :

Juan Navarro ... Photographer

and decide if you like his style. Also, check with Claudia or Gaby to how many hours you get him for. He may only be booked to do your wedding ceremony. If you have a budget for it, there are many awesome photographers to choose from if you like someones work better. Look at their different styles, their packages, prices and also how many hours you would like them there for. I would decide asap b/c there are a lot of weddings in cancun booked for june and if you want another photographer, i would contact them asap!

juan navarro is the included photographer, and all that is "included" is about 1hr. of photography (ceremony only), 36 prints. you can add more time/prints/photos on disc, but at a price. i personally decided if i was going to spend more money anyway, then i might as well hire a photographer whose work i liked better. check out his site to get a feel for his style, and contact your WC for the current prices for package additions. only you will know whether he is right for you or not!

I have to tell everyone on this forum that Vanessa Vargas is absolutely awesome! I could not find much information about her on here but I took a leap of faith and contracted her for our wedding. I just saw the proofs last week and loved everyone of them. I had troubles choosing only 350! She showed up on time, was very professional and has a great artistic eye. I am recommending her to everyone on BDW's. I will post my pictures when I get them back later this week, hopefully you can see her work on VANESSA VARGAS PHOTOGRAPHY

WOW ... how were her prices? her work is GORGEOUS! it's too late for me (already hired moments that matter) but i'm sure others will want the info!
