we picked the same menu.... i think i read somewhere it was some kind of chocolate, but i'm not 100 percent sure

Did you guys ask your guests what they prefer? We mailed out our invitations in Sept so its obviously too late to put it in the RSVP card.

I like Menu 3B too but also wondering if I have enough time to get preferences from guests when we need to let Tiffany know by March 24th - just seems like ONE more thing to do and keep track of lol

I was able to get menu preference fairly quickly from my guests. I directed them all to my website and I had a page there for them to select their preferences.
I only have 35 people to keep track of though.

We were wondering the same thing. We'd been planning on a buffet, but were told the other day that they can't host a buffet dinner at Zocalo al fresco. So, now after our invites are already out, we're moving to a served dinner. Is is cheesy to send an email to our confirmed guests on what entree they prefer? Do we also need to provide Azul the app choice? Or do they serve both?

The other thing we were thinking was going with menu 4A and giving everyone the surf & turf... Thoughts girls?

Thanks for all the responses about the menus! Has anyone done a site visit and sampled any of the food off the preset menus? Also, what about combining parts of menus -- so, for example taking some things from 3A and some from 3B (anyone know if this is allowed)? Thanks!

Hi Everyone,

I just wanted to let you know that we changed our wedding location. It was the best decision for us and our guests (though it was also a costly one - we had a room block).

Sensatori is a gorgeous resort. Please be reminded that it's a newly opened resort and it will only get better with time. I'll definitely continue to read this great thread (many thanks to Jenny for starting it). Keep sharing information and support each other! Your weddings will turn out amazing.

Best to everyone!

Thanks! Thats a good idea to have it on the website - we too only have about 35 guests so im hoping it wont be too difficult to get the information in like 2 weeks - but i better get on that!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
