Savannah they have gotten so much bigger since you first joined BDW. I still remember when you posted about your kids I was so shocked that you had 4, its so rare. I have to ask because I always wonder, did you have fertility treatments or do multiples run in your family? (you don't have to tell me, I am always curious because I used to work in a fertility clinic and I love hearing success stories).

I don't know if I qualify for the fertility gang.

We had been trying for about a year knowing I had ovarian cysts. They weren't severe enough for surgery/laser so the doc just let is try....I had a lap to make sure my tubes were clear, which they say has the fringe benefit of "blowing out" any kinks or obstructions. They looked good, but the doc thought I should try some medication to shrink the cysts to help things along....the MEDS had a fringe benefit of stimulating the ovaries but the doc said I'd only have between a 1-2% chance of twins. The rest is history.

Yeah, that's my little vampire. Our doctor was like, "that's so odd, not many kids have that."

Abbie, babies are babies. I'm still my mom's baby and I'm 25. So, if 10 and 13are your babies, brag away lady!

thanks for sharing Savannah. I have always been fascinated by fertility and how it all actually works. Maybe in another life I could have gone into the field, but the heartbreak was sad so many times. We only had one set of quads while I worked there, it was IVF though.

Savannah I love em!!!!!! Oh when they are chubby... sooo cute. Caterina has never been chubby sad.gif She's so tiny. On her 6 month appt her doc was worried she was not getting enough nutrients. But he ran tests and she is completely fine and getting everything she needs. she's 29" tall and only 16 1/2 lbs. he said it just runs in her genes to be very skinny. HA! Wish I still had those genes!!! She eats like a horse! for example yesterday she had a waffle an egg and half a banana for breakfast; half a tuna sandwich for lunch; and a BOWL of pasta for dinner. then throughout the day she is constantly snacking on little graduate treats and drinking juice. She's 10 months old, did anyone elses kids eat like this!?

Okay - so I am going to get that little Caterina and squeeze her! Those thighs in that swimsuit pic looks like my son's at that age. I am a sucker for his chunky legs! My little guy has always been an eater. That kid eats night and day! ~ so yes, Jaci - my boy eats a lot and nope - never gains.

 

Wyatt and Zoe are SO cute! That Wyatt is a handsome little guy! Watch out ladies! I know he HAS to have one of those shirts that says "Ladies Man"

 

Savannah - all of your little ones are so sweet! Aren't they at a great age? Do they talk a lot? My son will be 4 in December and I swear - I want to nick name him "the Rambler" He rambles on and on and on...

 

Yes Abbie - I think I've only seen the kids in your wedding pics - we need more!

 

Christine - Ansleigh is getting so big. She is such a pretty girl. My gosh, she is sweet!

 

I'll post some new pics of my kiddos tonight.

He has a few shirts that say that. He is going to be a hartbreaker when he gets older...just like his Daddy! Wait...he's already a heartbreaker. He has a girlfriend at the sitters. The sitter tells me they are always kissin each other and sitting next to each other and sharing food.
