Recommended Posts

Here my story: I work full time, take classes on line, have a 10 month old and dont have time to hit the gym AT ALL......... So I purchased an elliptcal that took a week and a half to arrive put it together to find a knocking noise and a broken bolt so called company paid to purchase a bolt that they said would fix the knocking problem....... fiance did what he needed to fix it STILL a knockin noise...... So now I call asked them to replace it said it would be up to 20 days to get this one back and recieve another one........ I am getting married in 3 months and like 25 days......... I NEED TO LOOSE WEIGHT!

I am so censored.gif frustrated... I still have 10 lbs of baby weight to loose and I would like to loose another 10 so I am 150 ish by the wedding and I want to cry....... I eat pretty healthy ( with some slip ups) But I want to purchase something I can do in home and I cant buy an ellptical in store (i was on a payment plan)

Anything at home like a video or something less expensive that can help me reach my goal?

Thank you so much!

I've lost 2lb but gained 8lb in muscle so i suppose thats about 10lb in about 4 weeks and i have lost a dress size!

I've stopped eating crap and snacks. I have breakfast and a sandwich for lunch and a main meal for dinner that's it. If I want a snack its fruit. At least 1ltr water a day and loads of green tea.

If you are going to exercise its a heavy 30 mins and thats it anything after is not going to burn your fat off. Take the baby for a 30 min walk in her buggy and while you are doing it suck in your belly and bum really tight for a few secs and then release sounds daft but it really works lol

If you can switch on your core muscles you will be laughing - simple things but its really working for me. Mind I do see a PT every week but again thats only for 30 mins and I don't do anything I couldn't do at home, ie stepping up on a stair etc

You will need to combine cardio and strength training if you want to lose pounds and inches. Muscle weighs more so you may feel as if you are not losing weight but you will shed inches and notice a difference in clothes. You do not need to buy anything. Use what you find in your own home. Do reps with your ten month old, run stairs, lift milk gallons, etc. Old school moves such as push up's, plies, and bicycle crunches truly work also. I agree Tae Bo is great and so is plain old dancing.

I started actually dieting the first of the year and lost 12 pounds in the first month. I found a really great website just to help the tracking end of things. It's LIVESTRONG.COM - Health, Fitness, Lifestyle You need to go to the section marked "daily plate". There you can track how many calories you need in order to lose X amount of weight a week. I am heavier so I can have 1369 calories a day and lose 3 pounds a week. I use a journal in addition and write down everything I put in my mouth. It has kind become a challenge for me. I have a 2 1/2 year old and am busy too but once you have counted the calories a couple of times it get easier. I do go to the YMCA but have only had time to make it about 2-3 times a week the last 2 weeks but I am still taking it off just by calorie counting. You would be surprised how many you take in just by not paying attention. You can use that website too to find the calories of the different food. I herd Free Diet Plans at SparkPeople is a good site too or something like that. I am sorry I cannot help as far as a good exercise but I thought I would give my input on the diet end of things. Oh one thing I do at home as far as exercise is use the exercise ball. You can look up different ways to use it on youtube. Can you tell I use the internet alot..lol

Good luck and if I can do it, you can do it..lol

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
