Bianca,

I'd ditch the calla's. Don't get me wrong, I love the flower, but I just tend to think of it as a more formal flower. I love to see a ton of tropical flowers together.

So I have a few other things checked off my list!!

Ordered my moms dress and my AHR dress and my MOH dress!

Had my first fittings for my wedding gown, final fitting March 4. I hope!

Have everything for my OOT bags, minus a run to the $ store for some puzzle books.

Ordered our wedding cake for the AHR.

Payed off our cruise!

I think that might be all. Once we get our taxes back we'll work on getting the FI's suit.

Almost under the 3 month mark!!!

So I am officially done with my OOT bags. I am going to throw some magazines in them before we leave but other than that I have:

advil

immodium

hand sanitizers

band aids

travel candle

personalized matches

chap stick

candy

Aloe

Am I missing anything else? Did you ladies put anything else in the bags that I missing?

Tissues, rolaids, small hand lotion, I did crystal light packets but you're in mexico!, tic tacs, I also bought little change/key pouches from OTC.

Oh another idea, since you're in an AI, maybe get the ziploc containers this way if they wanna take some fruit to the beach they can.

That's about all I can think of atm! But you have a good list!

How are you getting the personalized matches down there? I have personalized matches too but I read airlines don't let matches on because they can combust due to air pressure and like there is a huge fine for it?!?! Maybe I am wrong but just wanted to figure out your ideahuh.gif

Luckily, having my wedding at the Riu means I don't have to do much. I have my dress already. We've picked out my fiance's ring and my wedding band, but haven't ordered either yet. We still need to get his clothes and the ringbear/flower girl outfits. We're not having attendants, so that's not a to-do for us. We already sent out invites and have gotten about 1/3rd of our replys.

The Riu wedding coordinator is supposed to call us between March and April to finalize the flowers, cake and decorations. So, I'm pretty laid back and comfortable right now. We're going clothes shopping for my honey next weekend which will really get the big tickets done for me!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
