Congratulations Kate! The pictures are great- you were a beautiful bride and it looks like everyone had such a good time! And I'm glad PF is showing up on the boards. I can't wait for our wedding at Playa Fiesta in November! Did you use the hair and makeup people that PF suggests? If you did, would you recommend them? Also, were your guests okay with the price? With the tanking economy, I'm a little concerned some of our guests will come, but be grumbly about the price (even though I think it's a wash compared to other hotels + food and drink!)... Can't wait to see more pictures!

I did hear a little about the price, our group was a little smaller than expected partially bc of the economy but everything turned out great!
I used the hair lady and she is awesome! Bring pictures because she doesn't speak a ton of english, it will just make it easier. My hair looked exactly like th pictures so I was thrilled! I did my own makeup.

I think because there are at least 5 of us Playa Fiesta brides we should get the PF thread up and running again. I will post in it tonight so be looking in the PV section. We can help eachother out there.

Andi- not sure what you are looking for in a honeymoon, remember there will be a wedding group so it won't be as secluded, and we got a little rowdy by the pool- can't hear it from most bedrooms though because of the waves. I think it would be a great couples spot though! We cant wait to go back next year!

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
