How do you do that in Itunes. I was interested in having good fade in/outs and even shortening a sond I want for the father/daughter dance. Any info you have would definitely help me out.
It takes some talent, I believe...it's been frustrating for me but I hope it won't be for you!
To change the start/stop times, go into iTunes on your computer and right-click on the song, then click on "Get Info" (at the top of the list that shows up). From there, a dialog box opens up. Click on "Options" (4th tab over) and you can input a different start or stop time for that specific song.
To fade out (which I think only works to fade/mix one song into the next, ahh!!), if you put your songs in the order you want (i.e. processional), click on "Edit" at the top, then "Preferences". Then click "Playback" (3rd tab over) and the first thing on the list is "Crossfade Playback". You can play around with this to set the fade in seconds, from one song to the next.
I hope this helps! I've had some trouble with songs sounding like they stop very abruptly or the songs mixing one into the other, like a dance party LOL not what I'm going for! Maybe I'm not doing it right, or just need to take more time.

We spent the day in LA today doing some of the final "big" items. We met with our jeweler again and our rings are getting the waxes made so those will be done by 2/20 as well as a necklace he is having made for me to match (so sweet!).

We bought his suit & got it tailored today as well.

I have a lot of little things left to do like:

dance lessons

chosing music

finalize room arrangements, timelines

making menu's cards, name cards, etc...

I have an ongoing list and surprising, there are stil 60 things on it (how can that be). YIKES! We leave 60 days from tomorrow....off to the races! I hope the rest of you are all on track!

It's true, I seem to be writing more things on my to-do list after I've crossed items off!

We made an appointment for monday to get our documents notarized and ready to be sent off! It's actually making it feel real!! I even packed a suitcase this weekend with all the Welcome Bag stuff and our Favours. I figured it was taking up room in the house, I may as well get them ready to go!

haha, that makes me sound like I'm so organized but it was really procrastination! I still have to choose my music for the ceremony which for some reason is something I keep putting off. I think it's cause I really don't have a preference for any song during the ceremony. We also need to make up a playlist for our AHR which is the weekend after we get back from Jamaica.hmmmm, still lots to do so maybe I should get off the computer and get going on that stuff!

My shower invites were mailed today! Its starting to feel so real! When is everyone having their shower? Mine is March 14th!

My shower invites are going out tomorrow! I am a bit behind on them...we just decided last week that my shower will be Feb. 21st! I have a friend coming into town that weekend and it will be the last time she is able to come to town before the wedding...so we decided to have it then...also because she will be in town we will probably end up having my bachelorette party the same night! smile29.gif

I am with you there! We actually have done NOTHING for the AHR...don't even have a tentative date yet! oops! I am thinking though that it probably won't be until June or July and it will be a simple BBQ in the park or something like that. I honestly don't even really care to have an AHR but my parents and relatives who are not going to Mexico are nagging us!

I third that. We've got a couple of miscellaneous things to take care of before the wedding, and almost nothing is done for the AHR. I've still gotta find a venue, which means we haven't set a date either. We were going to do it at FI's parents house, however once the guest list was made, we realized their house couldn't accomodate that many people. So we've gotta find some place cheap, preferrably with mature trees and a lawn.
My sister is planning the bridal shower for February 28th and the Bach party for March 14th. She picked up the invitations this last weekend which will go out in the next week or so.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
