In reality, I think it is super cute and am very glad he is involved....most of the time. love.gif
Tell him to join up on this site so I wont be one of the only guys anymore. shots.gif

Instead of Groomzilla, I am known as the Male Bride around our household. I have been very involved right from the start with all the planning and I would not do it any other way.

I totally married a groomzilla! He was on my ass about everything planning related and took over on so many projects. Anything artistic/crafty was left to me but just about everything else he was a part of or handled. Hillarious!

just last week he tried to get on my case about not getting to our TY cards yet.

I almost backhanded him.

good luck!

Jason, I wish I could put you in a room with Paul, just for a half an hour or something. I know this will be one of the most important days in Paul's life, no doubt, but I don't think he realizes the effort it takes to plan even the simplist of DWs.

But I do think that's a great idea - have him join up here! It's always great to get the male perspective on things. And Jason, that reminds me, where has Karen (I hope I got that right!) been!?

We have both been real busy with work and family stuff. But, I saw her typing away on here last night right before I fell asleep on the couch watching the Yankee game. Its crunch time for us now so I imagine she will be asking lots more questions.

This is hilarious, you are very lucky, my fiancé thinks we can plan the DW in four months (don't know where he got this idea), so every time I have something to say he says we have plenty of time you are becoming a bridezilla. I don't know if is just me we have been engaged for four months in two days and we have yet to pick a location, or a date for that matter. He is the most adorable caring man I know and he still can't be bother with wedding details. He only cares that is on a beach (it doesn't matter where).

So make sure you make good use of his input, it is one of the most wonderful things you could have while preparing your special day.

This morning as we were both leaving to work he says "Can you check Banana Republic and J Crew to get ideas of a suit for me.

Me: "Ok."

Him: "Oh, ya know what? Can you print them out too? That way we can put them in our folder and have for future reference."

Me: "Ok. Good idea."

So, later on I call him. I say "Hey, how about I print them, cut them out, then glue all of them on one cardstock."

He says, "Excellent idea, why didn't I think of that?!"

ha!

Wow! That's crazy to me!

My boyfriend I fear will also be a groomzilla. He currently thinks he will be picking out my wedding dress. he's VERY picky in the type of dress I get, and to be honest, it's kind of scaring me!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
