I read the review also and they only play "techno music" at the pool for an hour maybe! I HATE techno music and it did not bother me. The Gazebo is not that close to the pool area. The are near there is much more quiet than the pool and I would also assume that you could ask about that.

About three weeks ago I submitted my deposit to Jacy. Basically there was a form to fill out. That form along with my driver's licence and credit card had to be scanned. Once scanned all of the documents had to be emailed to her. After I did this I asked her to email me back with a confirmation that she received the documents. She emailed me the day after I emailed them with a confirmation. If anyone needs more info, the forms, etc...please send me an email

Hope that helps!!

I'm really glad to hear that someone else submitted their deposit the same way...I too was a bit hesitant at giving copies of my credit card and driver's licence, but that was a few weeks ago now, and all looks good! Has anyone asked Jacy about the music setup for the ceremony??

Thanks!! Yea, I didn't mind sending over my cc and ID information because I check my credit reports all the time and you are never liable for any type of fraudulent charges or identity theft issues, but it's something that you do have to be on top of.

I came across this website by chance yesterday and I'm so happy! I was desperate for some positive information about this resort after all of the negative reviews on TA.

I decided to do a DW in order to get out of having any sort of stress or wedding drama and I'd be mortified if this place sucked but so far, I think that I made the right choice. The pictures are beautiful and the fact that the place has been newly remodeled and allows kids is fantastic!

There was picture just posted on TA. Is this the adult pool area? If so, what is the area closest to the Marina (I assume the water in the background, is the Marina). Is that where a reception would be held?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
