Connie, funny you posted your real name because I was wondering that yesterday!

Nice work on the entertaining instead of moving. Sounds like a plan.

Good luck tomorrow! It IS exciting... even if it isn't your real day. Bill and I had fun, and can't believe how official it is!!!

Welcome back Nicole!! Sounds like you're pretty busy!!! Make sure you make some time for us though!! LOL

YAY Connie (finally a name! lol)....congrats on your legal day today!!! Oh...and to add your name to your siggy, just go to userCP, edit signature & then just put your name wherever you want it to show up.

I have been popping my head in most of the weekend, but I haven't really had a chance to post anything. My mom got here on Friday & we've been go-go-go ever since. But I'm so glad...my once page long to do list is now cut in half!! I'm so excited!! So, this weekend I accomplished:

- my second & final dress fitting (she just has to fix the cups & then steam it) I pick it up on Wednesday. (I will post pics in my planning thread!)

- welcome books are finished!! That was probably the biggest task! But they are now done finally & I LOVE THEM!!!

- I picked up the few things I needed like luggage locks, outlet adaptor, self tanner (just in case), batteries, tank tops (for iron on transfers), air freshener (in case of musty room!)

FI is heading out today to clear up a few other things we/he need(s) done!

The rest is my personal things...hair, nails, waxing, tanning...and I am off on Wednesday to take care of all of that. Oh...and I have to send out the pre-travel email to my guest & finish my planning thread!

WOOHOO!! Only 6 more sleeps!!!

We leave in 2 days!!! I'm starting to feel totally overwhelmed!

I pick up my dress tonight so worse case scenario, if it's ruined, I can try to find one tomorrow. That surely won't happen.....

I'm drawing a total blank on the Welcome Letters for the OOT bags and every template I try to open from the DIY forum, is saying I don't have enough points!!! Ahhh...

I need to start packing and get our house/animals ready to have our pet sitter/friend come over.

Originally I had planned to work all day today and tomorrow but I'm going to take a half day tomorrow so I can go get my nails/toes/eyebrows done.

It just doesn't even seem real. I think that's why I'm procrastinating even more than usual. I'm stuck in a fog just frozen- like my brain is turned off. (it is Monday though!) Anyone else feeling like this? I know there is so much for me to do but I just can't seem to just DO IT!

Help!

Yay Becky!!! You are so close now!! WOOHOO!

I know what you are saying...it still just doesn't seem real! Take a deep breath...relax. I started delegating stuff - is this an option?? I am very controlling (yes, I admit it!) When it comes to doing things I like to do them myself so that I know they are done right (or at least to my liking!). I had to give this up & delegate - there comes a point when you just can't get it all done yourself! If there is anything you need from us, be sure to let us know!!

I am not sure we are right at the front...my TA might have booked it that way - she did this for us. I am sitting beside my MOH and my hubby ...in seats 6a, 6b and 6c. So i would think that is fairly close to the front.
Got the shuttle prob sorted out too i think...my TA guarantees me that there will be a shuttle to pick us up at 4. We will confirm this again upon check in.
I got to thinking and I actually don't have too much to do ...pick up dress, get some jewellery, make last cd, make itinerary, finish tanning and get my nails done. Most of my packing is already done so I am sitting in good shape :)
Get those bubba kegs primed up for good use!!! *lol* a drink or two might not hurt.
Hey Chicklet,

That's awesome you got seat selection. We did too. I am sitting in 6a, 6b, 6c. It looks like I am sitting on your lap. LOL!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
