I am working on my invites and need some advise. For the wedding time did you guys put the actual ceremony start time at Las Caletas or the time of the boat departure? I'm sure in the big picture is doesn't matter since nearly all of the guests will be at the hotel and we will be bussing them to the marina. Any suggestions? After choosing font, text color wording etc. I think I am just done making decsions about them. I just want to print them so that I can get them put together!

I've never been to a DW either (nor had mine yet) but I am already "hinting" at my unmarried friends about having one just so i can be a guest...hee hee hee..one of Reggie's friends just got engaged and the first thing I asked him was if they were going to have DW! angel2.gif

I put the time they needed to be at the marina. With my family, that was really important!!! They are always late and on their own schedule. I put right on the invite that the only boat to LC leaves promptly at 3:30, and all guests should be in the terminal by 3:15.

Thanks ladies for all of the suggestions. I think I am going to go ahead and put the ceremony time and then have marina info on the "directions" card. I don't know what time the bus will be picking anyone up yet so I will just send something to those guest that are confirmed a couple weeks prior to the wedding or have the specific info for them at the hotel. 10 people booked so far!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
