I have sent Fabio an e-mail about 30 days ago and also sent a 2nd request e-mail within the last 15 days and still have not heard anything.
So WEIRD!!!

I am looking to plan my wedding at Senstori late this summer. I am just trying to figure out all of the costs. Has anyone got group discounts on rooms? I am looking to have 40-50 people. Do you know if it is cheaper to go through a travel agent or direct through the hotel? I really want to get a great price for my guests.

KMAC, it is def cheaper to go through a travel agent. My guests are paying MUCH less per night against the DIRECT rates. We are having 50 people. If you need a travel agent to help you, let me know and I can refer you mine.

In the subject line after my name and wedding date I have put "Fabio urgent question." This has seemed to work. Then in the body of my email, I have asked him when to start asking for what when and how long should I anticipate a response from him.

 

This has worked to levelset expectations and not make him and myself crazy :)

Honestly, I didn't get many responses until it was two months before my wedding (feb. 7th) I think it's because they do so much of the planning last minute and even when you get down to the hotel. It made me crazy too, but now Tiffany has been great to work with. Also, I've noticed if I respond to an earlier email I've received from them they will respond faster. Hope you start getting responses!

I just checked my email and last I heard from Fabio was on 11/25.

I had sent him a request of locations on 11/6 after our site visit, when he did finally write back didn't mention anything about it. He asked that I send him my date, time and type of ceremony so we could start on the details sheet. Of course I emailed him that information and hadn't heard anything since.

As usual, I'm waiting patiently!

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
