I'm so excited! I'm going to be an aunt!! For those that are mothers (or even those that aren't) what nifty baby items can't you live without?! I want to get my brother, his FI, and the baby the best gifts I can so any suggestions will be much appreciated!

Congratulations!! That's so exciting!! cheesy.gif I once saw a website with the top 10 things your baby WILL use (it also had the 10 ten thing that turned out to be a waste of money)... I'll see if I can find the website, but hopefully the new mommies will chime in and know what I'm talking about!

Congrats! I love spoiling babies! My wallet is probably glad I don't have my own kiddos!

Things I know that get used:

Sophie Girraffe - teething toy that is all natural

Hooter Hider - I don't know if that is the correct name, but it's like a bib for nursing moms

Swadling Blankets

Robeez shoes

Bumbo Seat

I personally always give a baby bath tub filled with goodies and/or a baby medicine kit. I get an organizer and lable the drawers with medical stuff and medicines. I think both are very practical gifts and saves mom or dad from going to the pharmacy at midnight for some Motrin.

I do the same thing. I always get a smaller laundry basket and fill it with stuff you will never have enough of. Baby wash, lotion, wash cloths, ect. Then I put clear plastic around it, and tie it closed with ribbon and normally a teether attached to it.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
