New Reservation Booking system - ROR

According to some reviews on Trip Advisor, the new booking system for specialty restaurants is as follows:

You are able to book 2 restaurants up to 4 days in advace between the hours of 10 and 4 at reception.

This sounds WAY better. Hope they keep that around

Interesting! This is way better than when I was there almost 1 month ago. You had to stand in line to make reservations for the following day/evening. We were lucky to go to 2 a la cartes!

Great idea. When I was there in April '06 I didn't get to go to all the restaurants for this reason.

Not that I'm doubting the review..but maybe an email to Chandlyn or the resort in general is a good idea..to clarify

What are the reservation times? I was getting married in Negril now @ Ocho rios...I have a lot to catch up on..lol

I was there in July 07 and also June 08 and both times all you had to do was call in the morning and make your reservations. It was 2 couples total so we would call to make reserv for one night at one restaurant for 4 ppl and our friends would call and do the same for a different rest and on another night for the same 4 ppl.

That wasn't very smart on their part to change that to where you now have to wait in line?!? That just seems so inconvenient to do that when most people like myself rather be soaking in the sun on the beach!!

Are you guys talking about reservations for the Reception or just reservations period during your stay at the resort?

Reservations period for your stay. I think that if you are in a suite, there is a separate area for reservations so that you don't need to stand in line with the regular rooms.
