I never really believed in that "when you see the right dress you'll know" stuff but it was so true for me.
That is awesome! where did you find the dress at? (I live in Denver that is why I ask!)

Andi -I went to Priscilla of Boston. I was completely blown away by how gorgeous the store was. And...when I got there four roses (for my mom, sister in law, cousin and I), a huge silver platter with wine glasses and champagne, chocolates and gummy bears (weird, but it's my thing) were waiting for me. Vanessa had it all delivered with a really sweet note. It was incredible and what she had written completely put my mind at ease. Within 40 minutes I had found the most gorgeous dress, my mom had purchased it and we were on our way to a bar to celebrate.

All of this wedding planning stuff is so much more fun than I had ever expected.

Hi Ladies-

Well my LC wedding is coming up so soon! We leave in 15 days! Anyway, I had a question, and I searched this thread and couldnt quite figure out an answer. And I really hate to ask on a forum that I know the WCs read. But here goes...what % did you tip the WC? I love mine (Nicole) and she is always really easy to work with. I especially love that she said right to my mother, well this is about the Bride so Jamie what do YOU want!!! I know there are per head gratuities, but not sure if that includes them. Any insights?

Thanks Ladies!

woo hoo I know! I am starting to get excited! elefant.gif

I do have a couple questions for everyone...our trip to PV is going to be quick (arrive sunday afternoon, visit LC monday and head home tuesday afternoon)
Can anyone suggest some good restaurants that we shouldn't miss?! Looks like we will be staying at the Marriott which is pretty close to the Malecon and downtown right?

Also are there any suggestions for good nightclubs? I really want to check out a nightclub or two while we are there because in April we are planning on taking all of our guests out one night to a club.

aaaagh! I just realized last night that I need to get all of my questions for Nicole out of my head and on paper so that I don't forget to ask anything while I am there! smile105.gif

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
