Sorry you will be out of town! This is my absolute favorite show of the year! We just moved galleries and changed names, but we've done this show for 5 years in a row now! It used to be called the "Holiday Miniature Show" (which I liked better cheesy.gif) but not all the artists are able to paint/sculpt "miniatures" - so they switched the title. It is so much fun because everyone is in the Christmas/Holiday Spirit and it's just a great way to end the year!

Hey Kari! I called the gallery and let them know you and Sheldon would be in attendance. I'm hoping we have a decent crowd - there are so many things going on in Dallas tonight it's nuts!

As for dress code - we used to say "Uptown Chic" (LOL) when we were located in Uptown. If that makes any sense to you then great! rofl.gif If not, just dress like you're going out for a fun night on the town. I probably would not wear jeans and a t-shirt but other than that, go for whatever you feel like! :) I'll be wearing a black sweater dress with black tights and tall black boots. :)

If any of you other girls feel like joining in, just come on out! I'm about to leave so I won't be around. At this point I think you're fine just coming without an RSVP... just make sure to ask for me (Jaime or Jaime Lynne) so that I can say HI! :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
