I think I may join this season as well! My body has been so "off" since I got sick - I've been completely sedentary and can't wait to start exercising! Since I'll have my surgery on Dec. 11th things should really start to be balancing back out by the time Season V starts! Plus as some of the other girls said, this will be great motivation for my wedding in May!!!

I've never done this before so hopefully I won't mess up and be "DQ'ed"! cheesy.gif

i'm definitely in again ... ann, i'll PM you and paypal my entry fee now so i don't forget. smile105.gif

ann, i think 2 missed weigh-ins in a ROW should be the disqualifier. i've never missed one myself (other than while on vacation, but i notified you), but i could imagine it's very easy for it to slip your mind if your life is any busier than mine (i.e. if you have kids, two jobs, etc.). 2 in a row is fair.

morgan, i personally like to weigh-in *every* week. having to remain accountable to someone is a huge motivator for me. it's like "i have to be good ... or ann and the girls will KNOW." haha! but if other girls find the opposite i'm game for anything.

I am in!!! I will PM you and sent payment now Ann

I agree w/ missing 2 weigh-ins in a row.

BUT I also agree w/ not weighing in week 2 & 3 cause you usually don't lose weight those weeks. So here's what I think:

If you want to send in your weight on week 2 & 3 that is fine, if you choose not to, then you should either not be able to miss a weigh-in, or you can only miss 1 other weigh in. Otherwise if you were allowed to miss 2 in a row and weeks 2-3 that's not weighing in 1/3 of the time.

What do you girls think?

Hey ladies, I'm going to sit out this time. I will be in Mexico from Jan 5th to the 17th and I'm only 2 pounds from my goal weight right now, which better be gone by the time this starts! lol Good luck and I'll probably check in just to see who's kicking butt!

we already have people signing up and paying - i love it! i am hoping the longer sign-up period will allow for lots of people to sign up this time.

i would think so, since it's not giving you an advantage over anyone. does anyone disagree?

Do we want to skip those?

so I had to go back and look just to see what weeks 2-3 have looked like for the BDW BL seasons (yes, i still have all of the spreadsheets!). and it looks like week 2 has always been pretty strong, but there's definitely a dip in week 3.

i'm game for whatever you guys decide in terms of those 2 weeks. i missed where you talked about that, so i was wondering where the skipping of weeks came in! lol

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
