I sent my paperwork!

Recommended Posts

I finally sent my paperwork via email to Chandlyn. Only problem is that she says our pictures are not clear on the copies of our passports so now I have to get notarized copies of our drivers licenses.

Did anyone else use their passports? I don't think you can get a clear copy of a passport, it is not mad to be able to copy.

Does anyone know if she needs to keep the notarized copy of our birth certificates when we get there? I only have the one copy of them and don't want to give it up. If she keeps them, I will have to get another notarzied copy.

I'm getting so excited! Just over a month to go!

I sent her notorized copies of my driver's license & passport and didn't have any problems. I also scanned my copies into my computer and sent them to her via email and she never said anything.

She did not ask for a notarized copy of my birth certificate when I got there either.

Good luck & woohoo you are getting close!!!!

I sent notorized passports and everything was ok for us. Maybe it was just a bad copy??

I did send notarized copies of our passports & they came out fine but I had it done at Staples. Did you make the copies yourself? If so maybe it was just a fluke & you should try Kinko's or Staples. The only thing that they will tell you is that they aren't allowed to give you color copies of your passport, which is fine.

Also, I did send notarized copies of our birth certificates & we did not get those back, so I'm thinking that she does keep them.

Congrats on having 1 month left! I can imagine how excited you are!

I took our passports to our bank, and they made a photocopy of them. Then I scanned the notarized copies. The photos just come out dark in the copy because of the way they are on the passport. They have watermarks or something over them on the passport.

I should have made copies of our drivers licenses and passports right away, but I didn't really think about it at the time. I just need to get notarized copies of our drivers licenses.

Thanks Everyone!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
