I did not realize that you were getting married at DPA so soon after they were opening! I am so anxious for your review! You will probably be the first DPA bride... I can't wait to hear more about your wedding!

i like the gazebo. it has a real authentic feel to is. I didn't like the tent set up for my ceremony location at first. I had it in my cons list. but, it ended up being one of my favorite parts.

Thanks Morgan for taking so many pics. The place really looks deserted. Looks like they have alot of work to get done. How was the weather when you got married there? We're getting married July 17,2009 right in the rainy season!! Didn't even think of that when planning, was thinking the most convenient month for everyone with children!! Anyway hope your wedding day was awesome will check out your thread after I get home from work. Congratulations to you and your new hubby!!!

Hi there Dreams Brides!

I'm recently engaged and new to the forum. My fiance and I have been trying to find a resort that we love and so far I love the Dream's resorts!!! I am having a tough time finding prices on accomodations there though. Does anyone know a ball park figure for a seven night all inclusive vacation at Puerto Aventuras??

Thanks!!!

It really depends on the time of year. We are paying about $2000 for 7 nights in the honeymoon suite in May 2009.

Hi Trish,

We booked our wedding for Dreams Puerto Aventuras for July 17.2009. We went through Apple Vacations. We originally booked an oceanview room for $1778.00 per person. But since we have over 20 people booked, the 21st person is free. We used that credit to upgrade to a Honeymoon suite aand the rest of the credit goes to our balance. This price includes airfare, hotel food, everything.

Hope this info has been some help.

Kim

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
