Hi and welcome to this great forum and Azul Sensatori thread. This thread has a lot of helpful information from everyone -so I suggest that you take some time to read it from the beginning (after a while it reads pretty quickly). We're all eager to share information - thanks for sharing the photos :)

P.S. you can contact anyone directly by sending them a private message ('pm'). Just click on their name and select 'send a private message'. I sent you one.

JHarwood2Be - I know what you mean about reading stuff online. There are so many wedding blogs and places to get great ideas. I found this great thing called, www.google.com/reader And you put in the blogs that you read on a daily basis and then updates you when there are new things and keeps it organized for you. Loving it

So excited to hear about the new review on Trip Advisor. It's great to see that it is up and running and so far so good....

I agree. Unfortunately none of the reviews were detailed or included photos. In fact, I read a few posts questioning how genuine the reviews actually were. I look forward to checking it out daily!!!

Could anyone confirm whether outside guests with day pass can they be part of the private dinner? It says on the contract with Azul that they can't participate in private events... ?

EDIT: I just looked it up, it's worded funny, but it really means you pay extra for the day pass but it does not include the food from private event dinner. So you pay for the guest again for their food.
I was told that you have to pay for a day pass as well as your guests dinner for a private reception. I know...this doesn't make any sense! Please let me know if you hear otherwise.

Do you know how many people the restaurant holds? Are you wanting your own decor ideas to apply within the restaurant? I wonder if you just had reservations, would your party take up most of the restaurant and it would feel semi-private?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
