Tammy's Spicy Spinach Artichoke Dip

Recommended Posts

I like my dip with a little more kick (but not too spicy because DH is a wimp) so i threw together this recipe...super easy and yummy

Ingredients

1 box frozen chopped spinach, thawed and water squeezed out of it

1 6 oz can of marinated artichokes (i sometimes add 2 cans if i have it...love artichokes)

1/2 cup sliced peppercinis

1 cup sour cream

1/2 cup mayonaise

1/2 cup grated Parmesan

1 cup shredded jack cheese

8 ounces cream cheese, softened

dash of worsteshire

4 cloves garlic, crushed or 1 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper, plus more as needed

1/2 teaspoon hot pepper sauce, plus more as needed

serve with: Carrot sticks, celery sticks or baked tortilla strips, for serving

mix all ingredients together, put in pie dish or other shallow casserole dish, sprinkle some more cheese on it and bake at 350 degrees for about 20-30 mins...

Sounds great Tammy. I love artichokes. I always keep some around just to throw in salads.

Michelle - leave out the pepper, hot sauce, and peperoncinis and it will be much milder. You might need to start with a smaller amount of garlic and add as you go, if that upsets your tummy as well.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
