i just made a few comments and i feel like everyone else has been responded to....honestly ill let you girls discuss it though and i love hearing what everyone has to say i just dont know much about the situation....bah sorry i am tired and feeling rotten...forget what i even said about being ignored im just in a crappy mood tonight....sorry

Depends on which Supreme Court you are referring to. The California Supreme Court is the final decisionmaker on California state law interpretation. The U.S. Supreme Court has no jurisdiction to tell the California Supreme Court how to interpret their own constitution.

California Supreme Court refused to hear arguments on whether this referendum was unconstitutional this summer. That seems kind of determinative of this issue. If the Court thought there was something wrong with this referendum, they likely would have taken up that issue this summer rather than trying to clean up this mess now.

Sorry, you feel that way. I read your statements and agreed with them. I just didn't comment on it, guess it gets a little hard to comment on every person. No worries though, I have felt like you before on other threads.

Michelle you are right I really meant to comment on this but I got carried away with my day. This is my plan to personally change the way people believe. I plan to teach my students to be open minded and make decisions based on the facts and based on what is right. I also plan to teach my children that loving someone whomever that is, man or woman is okay and they will be accepted in our family no matter what.

I was actually discussing this with my colleague. Last night, Prop 2 (animal rights) was overwhelmingly winning, while those who voted for Prop 8 and Prop 4 (parental consent for a minors abortion) were head to head. Thankfully, Prop 4 lost, but it makes me very sad that Prop 8 passed. I don't understand. Let's limit others rights, but lets make sure the chickens don't live in cages!

I thought this was for a CA constitutional amendment, and if it was an amendment is the only way for the CA supreme court decision to be over-ridden

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
