I'm so excited to learn about this. you mail them a box of pictures & you get digital images on a CD/DVD back.

I've gone through the tedious process of scanning so many kid pics. I planned on doing more in the future, but now I'm just doing this.

I placed my order for the 100 free scans. You print a pre-paid shipping label, put the pics in a box & drop it off at UPS. Shipping for my 100 free pics was $8.

Also, you can send in up to 200 pics and pick the 100 you want.

without the code, it's 24 or 27 cents a picture.

I'll update once I get my pictures scanned. They do red eye removal & color correction, too. It takes about 2 1/2 weeks.

Thanks so much for posting this.

I have so many photographs going back over 30 years or more and many of them are in albums in chronological order, only thing is I started before acid free or archival paper were readily available. Many of my photo's including my own wedding ones are yellowing already. I figured at some point I would have to go through them all and scan some of the important ones. What I could do now is select a combination of negatives and photos and send them all in, or even send the whole album.

Still a daunting task to go through the boxes of negatives I have and the over 20 albums with 400 photo's in each . . .

I just checked and they don't accept orders from Canada...yet. Under FAQ, it says they are working with US customs to figure out how best to do this and hope to accept Canadian orders soon. If I start sorting my pics now, maybe by the time I'm ready, they'll accept our orders :)

Thanks for posting, Morgan!!

Thanks for the heads up about the Canadian orders. I know that I have to do something with our photo's eventually. It's such a daunting task and I'm seriously procrastinating on this one.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
