Dear DW Invitees,

The little card that was included with your invitation that had your name nicely pre-filled on it with the little boxes to check that said 'Will Attend' and 'Will Not Attend' is called a REPLY CARD. It even came with a pre-addressed and STAMPED little envelope to put it in... PLEASE SEND IT BAAAAACCCCKKKK!!!!

Thank you,

Your Soon-to-Be Bridezilla!

hahaha, sorry, just had to vent. I know that all of you have had this issue with people not sending in the reply cards. Its just driving me nuts. I check the mail everyday and nothing... oh well, technically they still do have a little time to send them in. I was just really looking forward to getting them.

I wish I could actually send it out! I have gotten 4 back out of 30 (in a month)... yes FOUR. And one of those is from my parents who live in the same house I do and handed it to me. My due date for them is still a little while away, but I can't believe how last minute everyone is. I wouldn't really mind except that we have some people who are still telling us that they are "definitely" coming, but haven't called the TA and as far as I know haven't booked a trip. I just want them to tell us they're not coming so I know I have the right amount of stuff for my oot bags etc...

Oh well... what are you going to do. I need to adopt my FI's attitude of~ hey if they show up in Mexico they show up. They won't care if they didn't get any immodium in their oot bag. lol

OMG! I know the feeling. Up to last week, I still had people booking. Never RSVP but decided to tell my FI family they were going. That's how I ended up from 30 to 48 to now 91 guests. Those damn RSVP's must be in a different language because guests DON'T UNDERSTAND THEM!

You're going to have to start harrassing people as of now unless you want your list to double weeks before your wedding.smile67.gif

Actually, I ended up buying stuff last minute and it sucked! My FI told me the same, if they show, they show up, who cares if they get an OOT bag.

Unfortunetly, I do care. Sucks! That's why I went crazy up until now.

Omg, 30 to 48 to 91. I would have a heart attack.

I feel like there should be bounty hunters for fugitive rsvp cards.

Now, I am worried that my Feb 1 rsvp date for a mid-May wedding is futile.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
