Has anyone ever seen this dress in person?

Beach wedding dessy gown style 1002

I think I like it, but no stores around here carry it, and I hate to spend the money to order it and not be able to return it if it is cheap feeling, ugly or doesn't fit me right...haha

I'm wondering if there is a secret to this dress shopping thing that you all can fill me in on:)

The worst part is that I like the top to one, the back to another, another part of another, etc. Maybe I need to have someone make one, but I suppose that could get rather pricey even for a fairly simple dress doh.gif

Thanks all!

I saw this at David's Bridal... The consultant told me they only show the back in magazines because the front is pretty low cut, which it is... I mean, I guess if someone has a small chest it would look ok, but it is still very low cute for a wedding dress.... Sucks, because it is so pretty, especially the lace up back! Good luck, but make sure you get to try this on before buying...

And hello to a fellow Charlottean:) Did you try that at the David's on Independence recently?

Thanks!
Yay! You are the first person from Charlotte I have met on here :) I did try the one on Independence. It has been since July though. I don't really remember that dress being extremely low cut, but I was just told by my alterations lady that I have no boobs (I am a small C) so I guess it could be bad if girls are more endowed than me :)

One piece of advice, don't register with them if you have a choice. That was the first thing I did once I was engaged and I have had so many phone calls about contests I have won and so much junk mail, all from, I believe, that page they make you fill out to try on dresses.

I fall into the "no boob" category as well, and probably less so by the wedding since I am going to try to drop some weight before then :)

How something like that fits you probably depends on a lot of things, so I guess you have to just try it on, which I think I will go do as soon as I can!

Thanks!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
