I don't want to ruin it for anyone but I'm extremely disppointed in who went home last night! Ugh! I really liked that person and think they are a great designer.
That's all I will say for now.

And yes, Kenley's dress was so ridiculous! Who would wear that!??!!?
I was bummed about who went home too. Although, honestly, what I saw from the collection I was thinking "Ewww." It just was just a little too tacky in my opinion. I'm surprised because I usually like that designer's stuff.

Yes I would agree I was shocked about who went home...Kenley's dress reminded me of the dress Bjork wore to one of the award shows in the late

90's or 2000 something....I love Leann's bridesmaid dress....I have to say Jarell's line looked a little too "Done Up" I was kinda shocked and just thought it wasn't anything I would love to see!!!!

Can't wait to see the finale!

this is the mcqueen dress they mentioned:

Lily Donaldson on Flickr - Photo Sharing!

it's from mcqueen's fall 2008 collection (which would have been shown in the spring i guess). gotta admit it's strikingly similar to what kenley did. not sure if i'd go so far as to say she copied it tho ... i mean, could she really be that dumb? these judges are IN THE BIZ. they are going to recognize stuff that just recently came down the runway!

side note: christian used to work for alexander mcqueen, and his finale dress at bryant park was very similar to mcqueen's work. where is the fine line between inspiration and copy?

You know what's funny... if I remember correctly that's not the first time they told Kenely her work looked like it had already been in an established designers collection. I forgot what challenge it was, but they mentioned that the piece she made looked like something that was already on the runway and she had a fit. She SWEARS she doesn't look at collections though...

Oh, Kenely's dress looks JUST LIKE Lily Donaldson's dress..... really the only difference is the tool that Kenley added. And they did say her work looked like someone elses. The thing is Kenely likes to do a vintage style from the 50's 60's so she actually does look at collections, just older ones. So alot of her work my look familiar since fashion tends to go in and out.

I really like Jarell too, I wish they could have had 4 on the run way.

I'm pissed Kenley made it through. Even though I loved her wedding dress, I agree with all yall... WAY to similar! She shouldn't have been able to get away with it. And why didn't Jerell listen to Tim and tack those things in? It seems that whatever Tim suggests to change, and the designer doesn't, they ALWAYS get called out on it on the runway... Why can't they freaking listen!

Right! I'm sure the judges have all of Tim's suggestions. I'm also surprised they put thru Kenley's dress, which is similar to another design, than Jerell's orignal (he could have made some changes). Oh well, I still cant wait for Wed's show!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
