Hi Everyone.....

I am still working with Jacy she has been very accomidating. She has approved my photographer. I was very specific with who she was and provided her website to Jacy. I really made it so she could not tell me no.

Also I was wondering if anyone had tips on how to encourage your guests to book for the wedding?

lyales,

who is your photographer and how exactly did you present it to her? Any info on this would be helpful. As noted earlier my photog backed out. I am looking for a new one but don't want to do anything till I know it will be approved. One that I am in contact with said she is booked for DPA for a February wedding so I want to get her approved for my wedding.

I would get in writing/email approval for any outside vendors you want to use, such as a photographer. There has been some issues with that recently. Other than that, I don't have many tips.

Hmm Jacy replied back and said she hasn't heard about that and will look into it and get back to me....

Bianca....where did you see that the $20 is the regular menu because I didn't see that in the wedding package .pdf document that Jacy sent to me.

Thanks!!

I said those were Dreams Tulum rates. I haven't gotten that pdf. Does it have more information that what the packages are? Dreams Tulum has a wedding guide that has lots of good info.

I just have the dinner packages that Jacy sent me. The silver and gold menus. I am really torn as to what to do. I hate spending all that money for a reception when it is an all-inclusive resort. It's pretty pricey if you have over twenty people. Also not too sure about the flank steak for the silver dinner menu! Just really hard planning something like this without ever been to the resort. Please give me feedback on what packages you all have decided on. Thanks.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
