after wedding ceremony attire

Recommended Posts

Hi ladies ,

So while I was in PV/NV my mom decided that I should buy my outfit for reception while we were there. I would be changing into this outfit right after ceremony and pictures. The outfit I chose is a skirt with a nice top (see pic) but top was WAY to small for me...fit in it but couldn't breath...must have been for a very petite person because it was an XL...anyways...we bought the skirt and took pics of the top so I can ask my aunt who lives in Nicaragua, who is a seamstress on her free time, to see if she can duplicate the top for me...what do you think?

Hopefully the pics. show up

Oh, it is sooo pretty. I thought about changing too but I know me, I won't want to take my dress off once I get it on. How exciting! And how lucky are you to have family that can do that. Let us know how it turns out.

Hi Mishi...
Welcome to the forum :) Sorry I was on vacation when you joined otherwise I would have welcomed you sooner :)
Anyways....
I wasn't thinking about changing my outfit until my mother insisted that I did. Saying that I would be too hot in the dress and blah, blah, blah....Hey I didn't argue...it's a new outfit, that I don't have to buy myself...my mom bought it. :)

Yup, his family lives in Managua too! Most of his mother's family lives there. His father's family is from Puerto Rico.

No, not yet. We went to PR and I met his father's side. He needs to visit my family in Mexico next, then we plan on going to Nicaragua.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
