i found a dress on davidsbridal.com that i love and amazingly it's on sale for less than $200. it's from the db online collection, which means its only available online. i was wondering if anyone else had ordered from this collection and could tell me about their experiences. i'd like to know about the quality and all too. thanks!!

I got my dress from David's Bridal at the store on clearance although its listed on the site under the db online collection. I love the quality and price. It was a perfect fit so I didn't need any alterations. I think you will be happy with the quality. I was so happy with it I wrote a review on David's site. Check out the return policy for the online dresses. Hope this helps. Here's a link to my dress.

Every day type empire waist dresses look the best on me too, and that is why I thought I would want an empire waist wedding dress too..... that said the empire wedding dresses looked like CRAP on me. So I'd definitely go try on some different style wedding dresses to see what they actually look like on.

But I dress shopped at DB a few times, and overall I like the dresses. I just never found "the one" at DB. But my runner up was a DB dress.

I am the same way... Empire waist dresses are what I wear almost every day. When it came to my wedding gown; they weren't that flattering. I am not sure why.

I totally agree with the suggestion above... go out shopping and try on some dresses of similar style and others that are different. You will be surprised what looks good and what doesn't.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
